Forensic Interview

Who Will Interact with Your Child?

Your child will be in the care of a Forensic Interviewer (FI), a professional adept at conversing with children on sensitive topics. The FI's primary aim is to ensure your child's comfort while obtaining the necessary information for the investigation. They employ a gentle approach, posing questions that are neither intimidating nor suggestive, and tailoring the pace to suit your child's developmental stage. Importantly, the interviewer will always respect your child's readiness to communicate, never pressuring them into conversation.

Observing the Interview:

To maintain the integrity of the process and minimize any potential stress for your child, the interview is only open to essential investigative personnel. This approach helps to create a neutral and supportive environment for your child. We recommend bringing someone you trust to provide you with support while you wait. If you have other children with you, they will remain under your supervision throughout the duration of the interview.

Communication with the Investigative Team:

You will have the opportunity to engage with the investigative team both before and after the interview. This is the perfect time to voice any questions or concerns you might have about the process or your child's welfare. Our goal is to ensure you are informed and supported at every step of this sensitive journey.
